Fees and Rebates
Fees for a standard 50 minute session are $200.
Full fees are payable either in cash at the time of consultation or via direct deposit, and you would then be eligible to claim the rebate from Medicare or your private health fund, if applicable to you. (Please note that a rebate for a session can only be claimed through Medicare or private health, not both).
A referral is only required if you wish to claim a rebate from Medicare.
Medicare Rebates
With a Mental Health Plan referral from your GP, Medicare offers a rebate of $93.35 per psychology session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
After the initial six sessions, a review from your GP will be required in order to obtain the further four sessions.
Private Health Fund Rebates
Rebates for psychological services may be available from your private health fund. Please contact your fund to find out what you are covered for.
Cancellation Policy
It is requested that reasonable notice be given for rescheduling appointments so that the spot may be offered to someone else who may need it. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will attract the full fee.
